On Thursday, February 8th, The Globe and Mail hosted The Globe Drive Mobility Summit, a half-day event exploring how automotive technology, artificial intelligence and the sharing economy are reshaping how we move around in cities.

Nearly 200 representatives from the automotive, transportation, technology and urban planning sectors gathered at The Globe and Mail Centre networking and discussions on self-driving vehicles, ride-sharing and city planning. Speakers from BlackBerry, Lyft, Uber, Magna International, The City of Toronto and others discussed how the technology—combined with better urban policy—is poised to end congestion and reshape city living.
